- What training programs do you offer?
- Freedive Crete offers Molchanovs (Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 3), AIDA (2, 3, 4), and SSI (Level 1, Level 2, Level 3) certified freediving programs in Plakias. We provide beginner courses starting from EUR 330, intermediate training from EUR 390, and advanced programs including depth-focused training sessions. All courses include theory and open water practice.
- How deep will I learn to dive?
- Beginner students (Wave 1/SSI Level 1) typically reach 10-20 meters after 2-3 days of training. Intermediate courses (Wave 2/SSI Level 2) progress to 20-30 meters over 3-4 days. Advanced programs focus on 30-40+ meter dives with specialized equalization and safety techniques. All depth progression follows your individual comfort and safety limits.
- Can I get internationally recognized certification?
- Yes, all Freedive Crete certifications are internationally recognized. We issue Molchanovs and SSI certification cards that are valid at any freediving center worldwide. Your digital certification is available immediately after course completion, with physical cards shipped within 2-3 weeks.
- What is the class size for training sessions?
- We maintain a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 4 students in all training sessions. This ensures personalized feedback, constant safety supervision, and faster skill development. Private one-on-one coaching is available for EUR 120 per session, ideal for rapid progression or specific technique work.
